Bunions that are not so severe can be easily treated at home with the help of simple remedies listed below.

Turmeric is one of the most efficient home remedies for bunions on feet. Turmeric contains capsaicin which can help to relieve inflammation and reduce pain as well. Mix turmeric powder with some water to make a paste. Apply it directly on the bunion every day at least 2-3 times. Allow the paste to dry on the skin. Turmeric can also be added to any massage oil so that the skin absorbs the medicinal spice and improves the blood circulation in the area.

3. PREPARE AN ASPIRIN SOAK

Repeat this remedy 2-3 times a day for best results.

5. STRETCHING EXERCISES

Foot exercises and toe stretches for bunions can help keep the joint between your big toe and the rest of your foot mobile, maintaining flexibility and strengthening the muscles that control your big toe.

Toe stretches:
Point your toes straight ahead for 5 seconds, then curl them under for another 5 seconds. Repeat this movement up to 10 times to help relieve bunions.

Toe flexing:
Press your toes against a flat, hard surface, such as a wall. Flex and stretch your toes for up to 10 seconds, then repeat four times. Then, flex your toes in the opposite direction and hold for 10 seconds. Repeat four times.

Ball roll:
Place a golf ball on the floor near your feet. Sit down, and roll the ball under your foot for about two minutes to massage the bottom of your foot. This exercise can help relieve any cramping and foot strain triggered by your bunion.
