The hotel was built between 1883 and 1885 and today remains a bohemian landmark of the city. In the past it was a home of many artists, poets, writers and musicians. In this very hotel the bassist of the band Sex Pistols, Sid Vicious, stabbed to death his girlfriend, Nancy. The musician died of heroine over does, before the case got to trial. The poet Dylan Thomas in fatal coma and later died in hospital. It all happened in this very hotel. Some people believe that their ghosts never left the building, haunting and disturbing the guests. Today the hotel is closed to renovation.

This cruiser used to be a luxurious ship that was sailing around the world. In 1967, the ship was settled in Long Beach, California, where it was transformed in a floating hotel. Because of the fact that many people died on the boat during the time it was sailing, it is believed that there are ghosts on the boat. Guests claim to see women dressed in bathing suits that were modern in the 1930s, or to hear phone rings when there are no phones anywhere to be seen. The building of the hotel is very old, built around 1100. This was the birthplace of Richard III (his remains were found under a parking lot. In the very same place, Mary the Queen of Scots was beheaded. The castle survived the centuries but before it was turned to a hotel it was in a terrible condition. It is believed that the Queen Mary’s ghost is still active in the hotel. Guests and staff claim to hear her walking down the stairs, move the furniture and that one of her portraits was leaping from the wall.

The hotel was a castle from the XI century and has very luxurious interior. During the years, before the place become a hotel, was a home to many aristocratic families, like the Mutis, the Odelskanis, as well as the tenor Francesco Marconi. Today as hotel, the place is haunted, as its guests are claiming. It is believe that the Emperor Nero walks around the hotel and the gardens, and that sometimes they have seen horses run outside. #5. Fairmont Banff Springs Hotels, Banff, Canada
This is a wonderful building, located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. From the outside the building looks pretty much like a European castle, but is equally spooky on the inside as the previous hotels, mentioned above. Allegedly, a young bride was killed in an accident while she was walking down the aisle. Guests believe that her ghost haunts the place. But she is not alone. During the years, there was a bellhop who worked there and loved the place so much, that his spirit remained in the building after his death. Some guests claim that there is a white haired bellhop that helps them with their luggage and right before they tip him, he disappears.

The Akasaka Weekly Mansion is believed to be one of the most haunted places in Tokyo. The guests were constantly complaining that hands (just hands, no bodies) were touching them while they were sleeping or that they were reporting seeing ghostly mists.

The building used to be a hospital where patients of smallpox and bubonic plaque were dying. Guests claim to see ghosts of people who died in the building, like prostitutes or seamen. More precisely the room number 8 is considered to be a place where a dark presence looms over the bed of the guest while they sleep.

The hotel’s misfortune is the fact that it was build over land that previously was a place that was prison and execution field, during the World War Two. Even before the hotel was erected, the locals were avoiding the place, believing that it was haunted because of the many deaths of the prisoners. Once the action star, Jackie Chen, while staying in the hotel, reported that something creepy got out of his suite in the middle of the night. The hotel staff tries to help the place and calm the spirits by consulting gen chui experts.
